Beautiful holiday lights, musical performances by local groups, photos with Santa Claus and our community’s lighting of the tree—it’s all FREE at the City of St. Peters’ 28th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! This year’s event begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at St. Peters City Hall.
Don’t miss holiday-themed musical performances starting with Joshua Barclay on the piano, followed by the kids of The Childbloom Guitar Program of St. Charles County, students from the Fort Zumwalt East High School Orchestra, singers from The St. Peters Choral Society, and a unique a cappella choir, Lindenwood University’s Voices Only. The countdown to the lighting of the tree happens right outside City Hall under the stars following the last musical performance.
Following the ceremony, kids and families have lots of fun activities to choose from. Santa Claus himself makes a special visit to take photos with kids and families, so don’t forget to bring your wish lists! Musician Ceara Thierry will lead kids in a fun holiday sing-along show. Abra-Kid-Abra also returns this year, making one-of-a-kind holiday balloons kids can take home for FREE! Tasty treats will also be provided. |
